Lancashire's men's Academy set for York jamboree

If you are desperate to get your cricketing fix in between Lancashire’s pair of Vitality Blast double headers Emirates Old Trafford this week - one today and another on Friday - why not head across the Pennines to York to see the county’s next generation of men’s talent in action.
Lancashire’s men’s Academy - their Under 18s team - play their North Group T20 campaign from tomorrow through to Thursday at the impressive Minster City complex which houses both York and Clifton Alliance Cricket Clubs.
Six teams are involved; Lancashire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Durham, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
While the fixtures for the other two groups - the South and Midlands - are more spread out, the Northern counties have gotten their heads together to give their group more of a festival feel.
