Last week, we spoke to current men’s England Under 19s assistant coach Kyle Hogg about first junior contact with cricket and how it’s all about enjoyment, enjoyment, enjoyment at that stage.
We have teamed up with Hogg and his new Field of Dreams Mentoring business.
And in the coming weeks, we will be chatting to the 2011 County Championship winner to get some advice for aspiring cricketers - even coaches and parents. But he also talks about the challenges faced by cricketers as they move through the different stages of a career right to the top level.
