Lancashire moving through the gears after Gloucestershire win

Where do we start with that four days at Bristol?! The win - by four wickets just after lunch on day four - that’s the main thing. Lancashire’s bid for promotion is already moving through the gears, and the season has only just got out of the cul-de-sac.

In an ideal world, of course you’d want to see results married with flawless performances. There is every chance that will come. But the last two victories, the first coming against Derbyshire at Emirates Old Trafford last weekend, have told us a lot about the character of this team.
