On Monday afternoon, in Lancashire’s win over Nottinghamshire at Emirates Old Trafford, Keaton Jennings became only the fourth player to reach the 2,000-run mark for the county in T20s. In posting a dashing 51 off 31 at the top of the order against the Outlaws, he joined a list headed by Steven Croft and including Liam Livingstone and Karl Brown.

On Monday afternoon, in Lancashire’s win over Nottinghamshire Outlaws at Emirates Old Trafford, Keaton Jennings became only the fourth player to reach the 2,000-run mark for the county in T20 cricket. In posting a dashing 51 off 31 at the top of the order against the Outlaws, he joined a list headed by Steven Croft and including Liam Livingstone and Karl Brown.

Current Red Rose head coach Croft leads the way with 5,018 runs, Livingstone next with 2,619, then comes Brown with 2,188 and current captain Jennings has 2,002.

Come the end of this campaign, Jos Buttler is likely to be added to the list. He has totalled 1,799 runs in Lancashire colours and will soon be back from IPL duty.

Innings wise, Jennings was actually the quickest of the four to 2,000 for Lancs, in 71 innings. Livingstone held the previous record of 75.
