Matthew Mott believes Lancashire should look on the bright side of their Vitality Blast record of multiple Finals Day appearances but with only one trophy to show for it.
Experienced Australian coach Mott is with Lancashire as a consultant coach for the duration of the Blast.
Here is someone who has had significant success on the international stage with Australia’s women as well as England’s men.
The 52-year-old Queenslander knows exactly what it takes to win, headlined in this country by being the title-winning coach at the 2022 World Cup back in his homeland alongside Jos Buttler as captain. Those two are set to link up once again at Emirates Old Trafford in the coming weeks.
