That will, of course be, the Rothesay County Championship clash with Northamptonshire at Wantage Road on Friday April 3.

We sit here, just over three weeks away from the green light on the new county season, and the excitement’s definitely building. 

Plenty of things can change over the next few weeks, chiefly injuries, before Sir James Anderson shakes hands with his former team-mate Luke Procter at the toss and hands over that team-sheet.
