You will no doubt have read our About section for this website in which yours truly revealed the planned title for a Memoirs if one ever justified being written. ‘A Thorn in between two Roses’. With freelance work on both sides of the Pennines, it leaves me in a decent position to look ahead to the eagerly-anticipated women’s clash between Lancashire and Yorkshire in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup on Saturday.
I have covered a decent amount of both teams over the last couple of years and have seen them both live during the opening fortnight of the season.
