Lancashire’s D40 Quest Disability side are one step away from becoming back-to-back national champions, having won four successive games to take an unassailable lead at the top of the North Group.
There’s still water to go under the bridge before the Sunday August 23 final, with two more group games to come, including one against Yorkshire at Mawdesley on August 2, and they don’t yet know who has won the South Group. Sussex are top, last year’s final opponents Hampshire will qualify again if they win their last two fixtures.
